In 1987, William ( Bill) Van Unen decided to leave the corporate world and venture out on his own. He opened a small men’s specialty store and named it J. Gregory Men’s apparel, after Bill’s son’s, Jay and Greg, We are very proud to say in the spring of 2024 J. Gregory Men’s apparel will celebrate 37 years of serving our loyal customers.

His first location was at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver. After many successful years Bill was encouraged by his customers to consider opening in West Vancouver.

He followed their advice and opened in the upscale Caulfeild Village, Shopping Center West Vancouver in 1996.
